The period of elevated beefs and hot hip hop tunes is yet again upon us. The controversial MTV Hottest MC countdown that saw a lot of freestyles released in 2014 is back and promises to be even hotter.
Debates around who is the hottest MC in the country took place on all social platforms after the 'CaraCara' hitmaker K.O took the crown.
The debates took precedence on social media platforms compelling rappers such as Reason and Cassper Nyovest into releasing controversial freestyles.
A lot of people, including Tumi Molekane did not understand how Reason, Kwesta and Kid X did not make top 5.
"But I think it's also very important to understand that that list is an MTV Base list. They curated it, they put that thing together. You always have to look at it through that lens," he said.
