For the first time ever the multi award-winning house group Mi Casa and
rapper Cassper Nyovest collaborate in the Coke Studio to write and compose a
new song.
On the first
episode, Mi Casa meet Coke Studio Producer, 37 MPH, and immediately start
jamming. But Cassper is nowhere to be seen and eventually after a long wait,
makes his appearance for their studio session.
It’s the first time Mi Casa and
Cassper are working together. “At first it was difficult working together
because of the different genres,” Cassper said. But they quickly got
comfortable with each other, showed their versatility and created a hit song.
Also in the Coke Studio is singer,
songwriter and producer Mathew Gold and Bongo Riot from Gang of Instrumentals.
After playing around with a couple of ideas Mathew and Bongo’s studio session
is not off to a good start. They also hit a brick wall when it comes to writing
the lyrics and end up having a rough first day.
Will they find their groove and be
able to deliver a song in three days?
