Nomuzi Mabena, fondly known as "Moo-zlie" is a young lady from Benoni, a small suburb east of Johannesburg. Her unique look, quick wit and bubbly personality won her the MTV Base VJ Search, as she beat out thousands of young hopefuls for the number one spot.
Before winning the MTV Base VJ Search, Nomuzi Mabena first got the attention of South Africans as one of the Top 2 Finalists in the SABC 1 Live Presenter Search. She was also one of the Top 6 finalists in the Media Career Guide Presenter Search. Without an Agent or Manager, Nomuzi attended a number of auditions that groomed her to become the television personality and presenter she is today.
Nomuzi also had a short run on an internet radio station called "Rhythm 100" with a weekly radio show entitled "The Lipgloss Diaries", which became popular amongst many females in and around Johannesburg.She has come a very long way to be where she is and deserves all she is getting.
