Soul Candi took to their social media to announce that Micasa has left their stable to work under one that they themselves own.
The statement released by Soul Candi reads as follows :
"We at Soul Candi would like to make a very proud announcement.
As a music company we aim to develop world class acts that produce amazing music. Roughly 4 years ago we became the very proud parents of a special group called Mi Casa. Three individuals namely, Dr.Duda, J'Something, and Mo-T, who are incredibly talented and have built an amazing brand - it’s been an honour for us to play a role in the first few chapters of this story.Some of the highlights include both albums being accredited double platinum sales status, multiple SAMA and other awards as well as some of the highest rotating tracks on South African radio.
We are firm believers in developing not only artists but entrepreneurs too and have together with Mi Casa concluded a new commercial agreement that paves the way for the members to grow their own business while still utilising the Soul Candi team and infrastructure for assistance on their ambitious goals.
They are an extremely creative, passionate and hard working group of guys and we look forward to achieving many more accolades together. We are extremely proud of what the band members have achieved in such a short space of time and are very excited to be a part of the next chapters. Like good old parents should be, we will always be just a call away "
