The talented singers seem to have way more to offer than music as they both have joined Rhythm City. Moneoa is set to PLAY a role of a scandalous, vicious baby mama who makes Lerato’s life a misery.
Lerato (played by Samkelo Ndlovu) is another diva, a very conniving young girl who will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
Now in a turn of events for the story, they have added Jesse to take her on in the drama episode playing weekdays on E.TV.
Jesse is going to shake things up in the story Moneoa says.
“I play a young girl Jesse, a baby mama and a rival to Lerato. She is very devious, outspoken, low self asteem and a negative trouble maker.”
She is known to be a singer, a talent that brought her to fame, she says although she is now venturing into acting, her role also includes her profession.
“Jesse is a singer but not strong on that role yet.”
As a first time actor who started shooting last week she feels fresh and hardly overwhelmed.
“The shooting hours are not bad at all. I spend a maximum of two to three hours on set, including hair, make up and wardrobe,” she says.
Moneoa hopes to make her role a permanent one in the show.
“I am not an experienced actress but I hope to make the best of it and hopefully I am given a longer character.”
Busisiwe “Bucie” Nqwiliso will be making her way back on the Rhythm City, she told DRUM magazine.
Her character, Joy, is much loved by fans of the the popular e.tv soapie opera Rhythm city
"I’m so excited to go back to acting i love PLAYING Joy; she is a diva.”
In her music life, Bucie is well known for her popular song “Easy to Love.”
Other musicians recruited include Bucie Nqwiliso PLAYING (Joy Cele), Brian Majola (Bongani Khumalo) and DJ Buckz.
Zola Hashatsi, Dumisani Mbebe, Mzamo Gcabashe and Iain Paton are new characters added.

That's some awesome news, will they also keep using their super good dj bag from zomo? i think its obvious they will but there's some crazy people!
